                      Welcome to Apartmenthous Kestel

Our family-run apartment house Kestel is located in a very quiet location, on the edge of the forest, without transport traffic and daily noise, away from and yet very close to the market town of Kirchbach.

An ideal starting point for bike tours and hikes in all altitudes of the Carnic and Gailtal Alps.

For a cooling on hot summer days provides the natural river Gail, which is located directly on the property boundary. For a full-day excursion, both the Pressegger See (23 km) and the Weißensee (39 km) is worth to visit.

Even on less warm days, the swimming fun in the heated outdoor pool in Kirchbach, as well as in the indoor pool Aquarena in Kötschach-Mauthen (17 km), does not stop.

Golf enthusiasts can pursue their passion on the golf course (18 holes) in Nassfeld (3 km).

Ideal for bike tours in summer is the Gailtaler-Radweg, with a route up to 80 KM long. In winter, on the other hand, as a perfectly prepared cross-country skiing trail.

Nassfeld Millennium – Expressarena, offers various activities both in summer and winter (8 km away).

You can reach the ski lift (Millennium Express) by a free ski bus, which is only 10 minutes walk from the apartments.

We offer various cozy and fully equipped apartments on a self-catering basis.

If required, breakfast in the form of fresh rolls, various types of cheese and sausages, etc. can be served in the parlor. Cost for this is 15 € p.p. and day.

All apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, including necessary kitchen appliances (electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, oven, coffee maker, water and egg boiler, toaster, cooking and eating utensils) and dining table area for 2 – 5 people.
Shower and toilet are mostly separate.
A modern TV (HDMI input etc.) is available.
Bed linen and bath towels are available free of charge.
WLAN is available free of charge in all rooms.

For an extra charge, the sauna, with space for up to six people, can be used for relaxation in the evening.

Parking spaces are available free of charge and plentiful at the house property. Among them also a carport, in which up to three cars can park.

The local tax is 2,20 € p.p. and day. Children under 18 years are exempt from the local tax.

Your apartment is ready for occupancy on the day of arrival until approx. 14 o’clock. On the day of departure we ask you to vacate the apartment by approx. 10 am.

In case of cancellation please inform us in time (30 days in advance) by phone or in writing by email.
To fix the booking we ask you for a deposit of 30%.

The apartment is located in a west-south side and has a living area of 51 m², divided into living, dining and 2 separate sleeping areas.

The first bedroom has a double bed.

Two single beds in the second bedroom.

There is also a sofa bed in the living room

The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen including necessary kitchen accessories (electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, oven, coffee maker, kettle and egg boiler, toaster, cookware and dishes) and a dining area for 2 – 5 people.

The apartment is located in a south-west side and has a living space of 40 m², divided into living, dining and sleeping areas.

There is a double bed in the bedroom.

There are also two sofa beds in the living area.

The balcony – on the south side – can be reached from the bedroom as well as from the living area.

The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen including all necessary kitchen accessories (electric stove, fridge, microwave, oven, coffee maker, kettle and egg cooker, toaster, cooking and eating dishes) and a dining area for 2 – 4 people.

Top 3, First Floor

The apartment is located in an north-east direction and has a living space of 44 m², divided into living, dining and 2 separate sleeping areas.

A bunk bed in the second bedroom.

There is also a sofa bed in the living area

The balcony – on the north-east side – can be reached from all rooms.

The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen including all necessary kitchen appliances (electric stove, fridge, microwave, oven, coffee maker, kettle and egg cooker, toaster, cooking and eating dishes) and a dining area for 2 – 5 people.

The shower and toilet are separated

Top 4, First Floor

The apartment is located in a north-west direction and has a living space of 36 m², divided into dining and 2 separate sleeping areas.

There is a double bed in both bedrooms. In the first bedroom a double bed 180/200

In the second bedroom a double bed 140/200.

The balcony – on the northern side – can be reached from larger bedroom.

The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen including necessary kitchen appliances (electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, oven, coffee maker, kettle and egg boiler, toaster, cookware and dishes) and a dining area for 2 – 4 people.

Top 6, Second Floor

The apartment is located in a south-west side and has a living space of 40 m², divided into living, dining and sleeping areas.

The apartment is ideal for a family with one or two children, not older than 10-12 years

In the sleeping area there is a double bed.

In the living area there is a living area with a sleeping function.

The balcony – to the north – can be reached from the living area

The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen including the necessary kitchen appliances (induction cooker, refrigerator, microwave, oven, coffee maker, water and egg cooker, toaster, cooking and eating utensils) and a dining table area for 2 – 4 people.
